Hi, and thank you for your interest. I am a 5th year PhD candidate at UC San Diego's Department of Economics focusing on environmental and natural resources economics. My research uses techniques that range from theory, computational methods, and causal inference to understand how to design commodity-based systems, such as markets for food, that are minimally damaging to the environment.
My job market paper titled, "Stock-Generated Externalities: The Principle of Targeting and Foregone Environmental Benefits," provides a theoretical framework for the design of policies to internalize the external benefits or damages generated from stocks of renewable natural resources.

I previously held positions at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Population Council where I co-authored academic publications on development, education, reproductive health, and survey methods. I received my Masters in Pacific International Affairs in 2014 and my Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from UCSD in 2011.
I am on the 2024-2025 job market.
